RON FIELD OVAL FENCE REPLACEMENT

After the significant rain event in 2022 where it was reported that Alexandra Hills / Wellington Point received 156mm in one day, the Ron Field Oval went underwater. The fence around the oval was significantly damaged and replacement was the only option. The fence was originally donated from the Clem Jones Centre and had lasted many years.

Thanks to significant financial contributions from the Redlands City Council and the Redlands Sporting club the new Bluedog Headingly Steel fence was installed. With a bit of creative thinking from the Management Committee the positioning of entry gates and the field entry arch has made this feature a magnificent addition to the Ron Field Oval.
